So much pumpkin

I just discovered 3 bags of frozen baked and pureed pumpkin in the freezer. That is the equivalent of 3 cans of pumpkin! Oy! I sure thought we'd be eating a lot of pumpkin this year. Yesterday it was pumpkin yeast bread, so this morning we had pumpkin pancakes. They were a bit on the cakey side... which is fine by me. I'm saving the rest of the pumpkin to make pumpkin woopie pies with cream cheese filling! I know, right! Awesome. Thanks to Martha for the picture.

Just another Wednesday

I've never liked Wednesdays. I think I just don't like the middle of the week. It is neither here nor there. Wednesday is also an awful word with such a ridiculous spelling.

I actually did like today because class is pretty fun. It is the only day I have class, so it better be fun.

I love making to do lists. And saving files and backing up. I sound like such a mega nerd? Good thing I am one...

Facebook disabled

So my account got hacked into and not-Suzy asked friends for money over the weekend. I changed all my passwords, and then facebook disabled my account. At first I thought whatever, facebook. Then I started to miss the interweb. I forgot how much I get from seeing what all my friends are up to each time they update. I miss the pictures and the funny status updates. I miss the posting of articles to read. I miss the links to stupid youtube videos. Oh facebook, you devil.

I don't know if I'm really up for having a blog. The whole idea that other people would want to read the life and times of Suzy seems pretty narcissistic, but maybe I'll try it for a while to vent my facebook angst.

Today it is snowing, but not in any kind of impressive way. Just in the slightly inconvenient way... snowing enough to give me a headache, but not enough to cancel anything. Still, it makes sitting inside with the kitties just a bit cozier.
